Unfortunately, wildfires also struck Algeria and resultingly neighboring Tunisia. Mozambique is still reeling from the effects of a cyclone as East Africa recovers from a prolonged drought. Behind these statistics are stories of resilience and hardship. Organizations like , , , and are working tirelessly with governments and civil society to provide aid, shelter, and support to those affected.
