Hey everyone 👋🏾It’s been a while since I’ve posted. Yesterday, I wanted to restock on local organic veggies, but sadly, I received a message that their farm was damaged due to ongoing floods.😔 It’s a reminder of how much climate change affects everyone. As we recover, let’s support organic farmers where we can for the sake of our planet and our health.

I’m a strong advocate for safe organic food because I’ve personally experienced its positive impact on my health.

✨Huge perks : You consume less because of the high nutritional profile & tend to waste less food when you shop organic.

When the produce is just sitting pretty 🤩
Got these leeks with my organic grocery order from BrooksVeg and had to take a picture. I love how nature inspires us to be present in the small moments just for a little longer in order to admire its full beauty.

✨ As we start the new week remember to be kind to yourself and do something good for your mind, body & soul.
✨I chose to add more organic food to my wellness journey and continue to do my best where I can. If we can be 1% better than yesterday it’s still a step in the right direction.

Gentle reminder to roast some butternut squash today😊I’m literally obsessed with butternut squash anything. I’m probably going to make some soup to combat the chilly weather. ☔️

✨Also Top tip: You can freeze raw butternut and roast it straight from frozen on high roughly 200 °C - 220 °C
Just add oil and seasoning and chuck it in the oven.

I’m really feeling blessed this year and want to carry on the good vibes and growth we have experienced personally and as a brand!

Eating more organic foods from helped heal my body from Covid Pneumonia.💯😷

✨Not so long ago I was on a cocktail of medication trying to recover from the worst Pneumonitis ever. For over three to six months I was constantly on painkillers, had no energy, mental health was frazzled, couldn’t be outside or continue my normal work/life routine.

What shoked me the most…I was still eating healthy, taking supplements & I just wasn’t fully recovering.

✨I did some research and first step was to get more organic food in my diet then incorporate physio. At first I thought organic food is expensive but knew I needed to change that mindset as I had already spent my savings on medical bills🙆🏾‍♀️

✨I slowly started swapping out some groceries for organic produce and continued to research/pay attention to how I felt. A few weeks went by, my energy picked up, I was on fewer medications, inflammation was reducing and I was feeling better.

✨Even if I couldn’t leave the house at the time..I’d just go to the greenspoon website look up the types of produce they had and easily select the certified organic vegetables/any other products I needed.

✨Safe to say the habit stuck for over 9 months and I'm so glad I made greenspoon a part of my recovery journey.

✅They make eating organic accessible ✅The produce prices are very affordable ✅Plus our food budget only increased by 1k but the biggest game changer is we now consume less food as we are being nutritionally fed vs eating to be full.

✨I’m looking forward to creating more balancing meals, learning more about the source of my food and continuing my health journey. We all deserve good health and a trusted food source☺️
