67-year-old man has committed su***de in his house in Ngenge village, Kithimu ward , Manyatta Constituency in Embu.
According to locals, the man, identified as Joseph Njiru had been suffering from a wound on his leg, and it's believed that he could have been pushed by the illness to t**e away his life.
Njiru hunged himself with a rope beside his bed, in absence of his wife who has been rushed to hospital after collapsing upon getting the sad news.
