We are grateful for everyone who contributed, volunteered, and stood with us in making this initiative a success. We look forward to returning soon and continuing to support and engage with the community.

Last weekend, we had the privilege of visiting and supporting the incredible work being done at the Mathare Fursa Centre.

This visit was made possible through a meaningful collaboration with club of Nairobi Parklands , who generously donated shoes and helped facilitate a feeding program for the children and families served by the centre.

Community centres like Mathare Fursa Centre play a vital role in creating opportunities, providing support, and nurturing hope for children growing up in underserved environments. Their work reminds us that lasting change begins when communities come together to invest in the next generation.

We are grateful to everyone who contributed to making the day a success and look forward to supporting more initiatives that make a real difference in our communities.

Join Us in Making a Difference!

We are excited to announce an upcoming charity outreach event in Mathare 4A, where we will be partnering with Mathare Fursa Centre , to support and uplift members of the community.

The Fursa Centre Mathare is a prominent non-profit hub in Nairobi's Mathare 4A settlement. Founded by former national karate coach Patrick Kiarie, it serves as a cornerstone for local youth empowerment, offering sports programs, education, and community-driven development initiatives.

This initiative aims to bring together well-wishers, volunteers, and community leaders to provide much-needed support, share resources, and create meaningful connections that can positively impact lives.

At its core, Movie Zetu is about creating a dedicated home for Kenyan stories. By bringing more Kenyan films onto one platform, the initiative aims to consolidate local content in one place, making it easier for audiences to discover, watch, and support homegrown productions.

For filmmakers, this means greater visibility, stronger distribution opportunities, and a unified space where Kenyan creativity can thrive.

Movie Zetu is currently looking to onboard more Kenyan films as it continues building a platform that celebrates, preserves, and amplifies Kenyan storytelling.
