Having worked with Microsoft, Google, Safaricom PLC and other large corporations and development organizations, Dr. Shikoh Gitau has had a front-row seat to what tech and digital can do for the world and more importantly Africa's future.

She left the corporate world, to launch Qhala in 2020, right as the Covid pandemic was gripping the world. What initially felt like a blow, quickly morphed into an opportunity for Shikoh and her team to set about catalyzing Africa's digital transformation by building tech that addressed the immediate needs.
