Pain is a deeply personal burden, and difficulties are uniquely ours to face—but your silent presence tells me I don’t have to face them in isolation. It’s a quiet reminder that, no matter how lost I feel, I am still worthy of love and connection.

Sometimes, words aren’t necessary; your silent support speaks louder than anything else. Love, in its purest form, has the power to help us rediscover ourselves, even when we’ve forgotten who we are.

Nightfam, some people survive the impossible... only to be defeated by the invisible.

Meet Roy Sullivan, the man who looked death in the eye SEVEN TIMES and lived to tell the tale. From 1942 to 1977, lightning chased this Virginia park ranger like he owed it money:

It burned his eyebrows off while he was driving.
Set his hair on fire inside a ranger station.
Even found him when he tried running away from a storm cloud!

People started calling him "the Human Lightning Rod." Some even refused to stand near him during storms, afraid they'd be struck too.

But here's the part that breaks my heart:
After surviving nature's fury seven times, this incredible man wasn't defeated by lightning... but by love. In 1983, at age 71, Roy took his own life over a broken heart.
And maybe that's the thing about being human - sometimes our greatest strength isn't in surviving the spectacular, but in handling the everyday storms of the heart.
