Moran Lounge vs Club 0%...The past vs the future. When watu wa Nanyuki decide to move, they move all the way. 😅 Sasa, Moran Lounge labda tuweke kanisa hapo? Or how do you guys see it? 🤔

Yesterday, as Kenya Airforce jets performed their stunning acrobatics at the Jamhuri Day festivities, one thing stood clear; those jets come straight from Nanyuki Town.

Yup, you heard that right. The same place we call home is where those skilled pilots take off from, showing the world what real precision and power look like in the skies.

That’s not just something to admire; it’s something to boast about. In Nanyuki, the sky is literally the limit.

Nanyuki has its own patterns. There are places you walk into and immediately know: hapa mambo iko sawa. Lane Chemist, or as everyone calls it, “Kwa Kibet,” is one of those spots where you’ll never kosa dawa there. People just walk in, buy, and leave, quietly confident.

The other day I was there, minding my own business, and suddenly I bump into a friend of mine. Not just any friend, the kind who owns a conservancy cm ranch in Laikipia North. That’s when it clicked. Certain places don’t advertise themselves; the crowd tells you everything.

In Nanyuki, even a chemist can reveal social class, trust, and quiet reputation; bila kelele.

To Hon. Gathoni Wamuchomba HSC, MP , stop misleading people using Nanyuki stories. Posting unverified and misleading images to narrate a struggle you were never part of is irresponsible. You did not handle the calls, the dead ends, or the emotional toll on the family; yet you rushed to own the story for relevance. And the evidence is already in your own comment section:
👉 The first photo is of a girl from Zambia who was malnourished and diabetic.
👉 The second photo is MISS ELL 254.
None of them is Ciru from Nnayuki. Stop confusing people.

The family stayed quiet not because there was nothing to say, but because their peace mattered more than your content.

Not every tragedy is your headline. Not every struggle is your campaign material.

Give credit where it’s due, respect the truth, and stop exploiting other people’s pain for online applause.

A shocking story is unfolding in Laikipia. A woman went in for routine surgery… only to discover later that her right kidney was missing. And she’s NOT alone, more victims are now coming forward with the same horror.

How did public hospitals become hunting grounds for organ thieves?
Where is the county government?
Why the total silence? Victims are already preparing to move to court. But the question every Laikipian should be asking right now is simple: Are we really safe? And how many more people have lost organs without knowing?

This story is just beginning and it’s terrifying.

Josephine Wanjiru Mumbi from Nanyuki left the county to Saudi Arabia as a house manager,in 2021.

Having signed a contract, unfortunately she was deceived to run away.
Homeless and in distress she lived a beggar in the streets with a baby and looked abused both mentally and physically.

Caution to our girls seeking employment in Arabian countries; when you sign a contract you must abide by the terms.

According to Guinness World Records , no official evidence has been submitted to verify or certify Truphena Muthoni’s alleged 72-hour tree-hugging record. Technically this means that it was just hot air.

It’s strange how a pattern reveals itself when you’ve seen enough stories play out. Majority of young men who dress a certain way often end up fitting the same script. Every time a Facebook post surfaces about a criminal who’s been taken down, the “uniform” never changes; hizi kofia, football jerseys, tattered jeans trousers na zile chains.

Doesn’t matter whether it’s Nairobi, Nanyuki, Meru, Kisumu, Mombasa, Narok or Eldoret; the look is the same, like a national dress code for the streets.

Take the three cases below. One was shot by the Cobra Squad in Uthiru, Nairobi after residents exposed him. He was found with fi****ms, his journey ended right there.

The other met his fate at the hands of angry residents after he and his colleague were cornered using a stolen motorcycle. All they were asked for was a logbook and an explanation of why they were inside someone’s homestead. They had neither. Right now their scathed bodies are at 0° temperature at Luanda mortuary.

The third one is from Naivasha. It is alleged that he robbed a man and since then he has gone into hiding. The unfortunate incident happened in Naivasha. His life is a ticking time bomb.

Different towns, different days, but the story, and the uniform, remain the same.

Do you agree with "Bibi yako akianza kuenda hii kanisa, fukuza tafuta mwingine" or should this be a moment for conversation, not condemnation?
