Through the AfDB-funded water and sanitation programme, Kenol has benefited from new water and sewer connections, helping address sanitation challenges faced by residents.

The question is: When will Kajiado County receive a lasting solution to its growing sewerage challenges?

Eng. SHAMMAH KITEME ASUKUMA UJENZI WA BARABARA YA BODENI. Wakazi wa Bodeni, Kajiado Kaskazini, wamepata afueni baada ya hatua kusukumwa kwa ajili ya ujenzi wa barabara ya Bodeni Silanga. Kwa mujibu wa *Engineer Shammah Kiteme*, barabara hiyo imekuwa kero kubwa kwa wakaazi kwa muda, kutokana na hali yake ambayo imeathiri usafiri na shughuli za kila siku.
Engineer Kiteme pamoja na PS Ephantus Kimotho wamekuwa wakisukuma mchakato wa ujenzi wa barabara hiyo, hatua ambayo imeibua matumaini mapya miongoni mwa wakazi wa eneo hilo. Ameshughulikia pia barabara ya Kangawa na kumaliziwa kwa barabara ya Olkeri.

Kenyan world champion athletes who train in Ngong have urged the government to consider upgrading Ngong Stadium to provide better training facilities ahead of the 2029 World Athletics Championships in Kenya.

Olkeri MCA hopeful Munene Kaigua has paid Tap2Eat fees for 31 vulnerable pupils, covering the entire school term. The initiative targets pupils who have previously struggled to access lunch at school, giving them an opportunity to receive meals throughout the term.
Kaigua said the initiative was made possible through the support of Kiarie Kimani, alias “SirKAl,” who backed the programme as part of efforts to support vulnerable learners in the community.
The initiative is aimed at ensuring that no child misses a school meal because of financial challenges.

OVER 2,000 YOUTH TURN UP FOR KAZI MAJU SENSITIZATION FORUM IN KAJIADO NORTH The government has concluded the Kazi Maju sensitization exercise in Kajiado North, with today marking the final day.
More than 2,000 youth from Kajiado West and Oloolua are expected today for the two day sensitization exercise, which aimed to create awareness about the Kazi Maju opportunities and how young people can benefit from the programme.
