We are proud to announce that Blue Radio is exhibiting at Pwani Innovation Week 2025 , taking place from 27–31 October in Mombasa. The event focuses on youth innovation, sustainability, and the growth of coastal economies.

Our exhibition features a mock-up podcast studio, where attendees can experience real-time podcasting and test their communication skills. We’re also offering special packages for podcast studio setup and production support, helping creators and organizations bring their stories to life.

At Blue Radio, we believe in empowering voices and building media capacity within our community. We welcome innovators, partners, and creatives to connect with us during the week and explore collaboration opportunities.

Today, we had the honor of hosting the Belgian Ambassador to Kenya, H.E. Peter Maddens, at the Blue Radio Hub home to Gilitics Media brands . The ambassador shared insightful perspectives on climate action and sustainable living, highlighting the net-zero energy model at the Belgian Embassy in Nairobi.

He credited his inspiration to a Belgian couple running a zero-energy setup in the Maasai Mara, a powerful example of practical sustainability. During the visit, we also recorded a podcast at Dominiek Studios — named after Dominiek, a Belgian entrepreneur, founder of United Petfood, and a close friend of the ambassador.

We were delighted to host the ambassador and his wife at our offices and look forward to continued collaboration in advancing climate-conscious storytelling and partnerships.

Today at the Blue Radio Hub, we are hosting an eye medical camp in partnership with Mombasa Eye Hospital, Awinda Aketch Foundation, Megna Homes and local health professionals. The initiative aims to provide free eye checkups and create awareness about eye health within our community.
