This Madaraka Day, our team at didn't just celebrate freedom, we brought it to life!

We partnered with Search for Common Ground Kenya to visit the Borstal Institution in Mombasa, a reform centre for young people. Here's the twist: We didn't just show up, we created a movement called "Form Ni Kureform

We had in-depth interviews with the youth, talked about crucial reform initiatives, and even brought some entertainment! But the real magic? Seeing the spark of inspiration ignite in their eyes.

This wasn't just a day trip, it was a bridge built towards a brighter future. We're proud to support these young individuals on their reform journey.

Gilitics Media's Director, Gilbert Were , and CEO, Johnson Mwangangi , recently accompanied Dr. Vincenzo Lorusso (Policy Officer for EU-Africa and ASEAN Science, Technology & Innovation cooperation) on a visit to Techbridge - a pivotal hub in our journey!

Techbridge played a key role in connecting us with Dr. Lorusso back in 2022. They selected us as a promising startup to pitch at the AU-EU Innovation Summit - a defining moment in our growth!

The Techbridge team showcased their impressive programs that nurture and empower tech startups. Dr. Lorusso even had the chance to meet some of these budding innovators, gaining firsthand insight into the Kenyan tech scene.

Gilitics Media's Director, Gilbert Were, and CEO, Johnson Mwangangi , recently joined Dr. Vincenzo Lorusso (Policy Officer for EU-Africa and ASEAN Science, Technology & Innovation cooperation) on a visit to Close the Gap.

The Close the Gap team, led by Ngosa Mupela, gave us a comprehensive tour. We explored the coworking space, the Meggie tent and the accelerator program (where Gilitics Media is a proud participant!), and even their computer shop offering refurbished laptops and desktops sourced locally and from the EU.

Dr. Lorusso was highly impressed with Close the Gap's dedication to supporting grassroots entrepreneurs and organizations creating real change. He resonated with their focus on empowering those at the "bottom of the pyramid." This passion for impact aligned perfectly with Close the Gap's mission.
