Muthoni AKA Baby Top Owes Truphena Muthoni and the People of Nyeri an Apology!
Muthoni Wakirumba, a.k.a. Baby Top, is largely to blame for the chaos and commotion witnessed yesterday during Truphena Muthoni last-minute challenge in Nyeri. In a video recorded by Baby Top herself, she is seen arriving late at the gate exactly ten minutes before Truphena’s 72-hour challenge was to end. At this time, a huge, unfiltered crowd, some goons and unruly onlookers, was being held outside the gates by security.
Security requested that Baby Top enter on foot through the gate, but she refused, insisting on entering with the crowd and her car. She is seen chest-thumping, saying that if she is not allowed to enter her way, she would leave..even saying tufungulie ama turudi'.There is a tense 5-minute standoff at the gate! Remember, security had held back a very huge mob outside the gates to maintain order near the tree where Truphena was hugging. Things were very calm inside before the mob entered. Baby Top, however, demanded to enter like royalty, even attempting to come out of the car’s rooftop, with her driver struggling to open it. Eventually, a call was made to someone a Nahashon, and it remains unclear how the gates were finally opened to all these people who were outside.
The result? Chaos. People surged inside, creating immense pressure, commotion,msukumano, and fracas. Cameras struggled to focus on Truphena during the final five minutes, and some attendees even lost their phones in the melee. It was crazy, unmanageable! Everybody pushing around, even Governor himself and even the likes of Mc Chris Kirubi Junior pushing by themselves, it was Helter. Ladies and women are heard wailing and kuga mbuu..This disruption came dangerously close to denying Truphena her golden opportunity. We could have been talking about a different story if the crowd managed to disrupt everything. Baby top knew what she was doing was not right, and is heard saying.."nînjûi ngafana ndakanjîta rîngî". Truphena looked so strong and maybe could have pushed more two or three hours beyond the 72 hours target,but the mob disrupted everything..
While it’s understandable that Baby Top is influential, a Molima queen, mobilized one Million plus, and came to support Truphena, but humility and humbleness are virtues that cannot be ignored. Baby Top must take note of this in her future events. In deed pride comes before a fall. Honestly, Baby Top owes Truphena Muthoni, and the people of Nyeri, a sincere apology.
