Speaking during their tour of North Mugirango and West Mugirango constituencies, the leaders urged MCAs to exercise their powers and remove the Governor from office.
Nyaribo is the Party Leader of the UPA Party, which is affiliated with Presidential candidate Dr. Fred Matiangโi.
โMCAs, you have the powers to remove that person from office and let Gesami take over. Remove that Ritwete so that the people of Nyamira can have medicine in hospitals,โ Japheth Nyakundi said.
Although the legislators described the visit as a review of midterm development projects in Nyamira, their speeches suggested a mission to attack Dr. Fred Matiangโi and anyone opposed to the Broadbased Government.
Osoro was accompanied by Nyamira Woman Representative Jerusha Momanyi, who has declared interest in the Nyamira gubernatorial seat in 2027, and Irene Mayaka, who is eyeing the Women Representative seat in 2027.
West Mugirango MP Stephen Mogaka was also in attendance.
From Kisii County, Alfah Miruka, Doris Donya, and Senator Esther Okenyuri also joined the team.
The new Speaker of the Nyamira County Assembly, Thaddeus Nyabaro, used the occasion to affirm his allegiance to the Broadbased Government.
-President Ruto is expected to host Nyamira County MCAs at State House on Thursday, together with their counterparts from Kisii County.
