This government has spent KSh 12.5 trillion since September 2022. If spending KSh 12.5 trillion hasn't turned us into a developed country in three years, how will spending KSh 5 trillion in 30 years achieve that goal?
Out of the KSh 12.5 trillion the regime has spent, only KSh 1 trillion or 8% was spent on national government development. A regime that has borrowed KSh 3.5 trillion in 3 three years wants us to believe that borrowing KSh 5 trillion in 30 years will turn us into a developed world. What fallacy and insanity is this?
All dictators world over suffer from a Messiah complex/syndrome. According to Google, this is "a mental state where an individual believes they have a special purpose to save or redeem others. While sometimes rooted in a desire to help, it can involve a compulsion to rescue others even at their own expense, driven by a need for praise, power, or a sense of self-worth."
When you see an individual inflating their self-worth to the extent of thinking that only they have the brains to run a country, this is the mental condition they are suffering from. According to them, anyone who doesn't buy their delusional dreams is a small-minded fool. What credentials justify such an outburst of arrogance? The line between overconfidence and insanity can at times be so thin that it is invisible.
This is why I have always insisted that what we are going through is a moment of madness. When a country goes through a moment of madness, nothing makes sense. That is why even people you consider sane and highly educated believe and propagate the absurdities spewed by the regime. A nation cannot exit a moment of madness without going through destruction. Ultimately, a single moment of sadness will lead to many years of sadness. Prepare for tough times!
