The House has, however, rejected the nomination of George Odhiambo Nyingiro for appointment as the CECM for Finance and Economic Planning, and Grace Agola for appointment as the CECM for Education, Youth Affairs, Gender, and Social Services.
Dorothy Akinyi Owino (Gem) withdrew from the vetting process. She was nominated as in the position of member of the Siaya County Public Service Board.
The approval paves the way for Governor James Orengo to formally appoint the nominees to their respective offices.
