Benard Maina Kiama, popularly known online as Martha Hinga Official, was today arraigned before the Molo Law Courts. He faces multiple charges, including providing false information to a public officer.

Kiama is accused of operating several pseudo social media accounts used to impersonate individuals and disseminate misleading content, slandering and conning unsuspecting Kenyans.

The court directed that the matter be mentioned again on 14th August 2025. Further proceedings are expected as investigations continue.

A 16-year-old Form Three student from Elburgon in Molo Constituency has been arrested for allegedly ra**ng and murdering his mother after a dispute over inheritance. According to police sources, the teenager demanded that his mother reveal the identity of his biological father so he could claim his rightful share of inheritance.
