DCP Strengthens Women’s Leadership Through Nairobi Training

The Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) has taken a major step toward advancing inclusive political leadership by holding a leadership training program for women at its Nairobi headquarters. The session highlighted the party’s commitment to empowering women at all levels of governance.

Sponsored by CMD Kenya, the workshop brought together women leaders drawn from DCP’s various structures, with a focus on enhancing leadership skills, strategic planning, and effective community engagement.

Key areas covered included building women’s leadership capacity, strengthening grassroots mobilization, increasing women’s participation in decision-making, and rolling out practical community development initiatives.

Deputy Party Leader Cleophas Malala officially opened the training, encouraging women leaders to confidently pursue leadership roles and actively shape Kenya’s political future.

The initiative reflects DCP’s dedication to nurturing a new generation of strong and confident women leaders, in line with its vision of inclusive and people-centered governance.
