Dear Kenyans,

Yes, jobs are scarce. Yes, times are hard. But don't let your desperation become someone else's weapon.

If politicians offer you money to cause chaos, remember, they will go back to their comfortable homes while you face arrest, injury, or even death. Furthermore, the money they are giving out is don't think it is genuine hard earned money. It is the money miss appropriated from tax we are charged which is supposed to better our roads revive dead factories or establish new ones that can create jobs. In addition, the health sector is deteriorating every day.

Take the money if you must, but don't become a goon. Choose peace. Choose to protect your community. Let those who profit from division keep their violence to themselves.

Your future is worth more than a day's pay. We can protect ourselves by choosing the light than darkness.

Beloved people of Kenya, God has not abandoned this nation. From the shores of Lake Victoria to the plains of the Rift Valley, from the slopes of Mount Kenya to the coast of Mombasa, the Lord still calls a people unto Himself. He is the same God who opened the Red Sea, fed Elijah in famine, and raised Jesus Christ from the dead. His hand is not too short to save, nor His ear too dull to hear.

Kenya is richly blessed with fertile land, abundant resources, resilient people, and diverse cultures that value family, hospitality, community, and reverence for God. Yet many still struggle with poverty, unemployment, corruption, injustice, conflict, addiction, and hopelessness. These challenges have many causes, including personal choices, broken systems, unequal opportunities, and the effects of sin in a fallen world.

The Lord's part is to provide wisdom, strength, grace, open doors, and His unfailing presence. He blesses the work of diligent hands, calls leaders to justice, comforts the brokenhearted, and gives hope to those who trust in Him. Our part is to repent, walk in righteousness, reject corruption, work faithfully, care for the vulnerable, pursue justice, and love our neighbors. Faith in Christ is not an excuse for idleness; it is the power to live a transformed life that blesses others.

The Gospel does not only prepare us for eternity—it changes how we live today. When hearts are transformed by Jesus Christ, families are restored, integrity grows, communities are strengthened, and hope rises even in difficult times.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I declare that Kenya shall not be defined by fear, corruption, or despair, but by righteousness, truth, diligence,9 and the knowledge of God. May the Lord raise men and women of integrity, heal our land, bless the work of our hands, and draw many to salvation through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Leadership is about understanding the difference between generosity and public duty.

If a leader chooses to donate blankets, mattresses, meko gas cylinders, beans, rice, or any other personal gifts, that is an act of generosity. People are free to appreciate such kindness without being told it replaces their constitutional rights.

But let's be clear, NG-CDF is not a personal gift from an MP. It is taxpayers' money established by law to support development projects such as schools, bursaries, and other approved community initiatives. When an MP facilitates NG-CDF projects, they are carrying out a public responsibility, not doing anyone a personal favor.

Citizens should never be made to feel indebted for development funded by public resources. Roads, classrooms, bursaries, and community facilities belong to the people because they are financed by the public.

Let's celebrate generosity where it exists, but let's also defend accountability. A gift remains a gift. Public development remains a constitutional obligation. The two should never be confused.

An informed citizen is an empowered citizen.
