Learning at Masii Boys High School in Mwala, Machakos County has been disrupted after some Form 2, Form 3 and Form 4 students were sent home indefinitely following unrest in the institution. This comes after repeated attempts to set a dormitory on fire
Reports indicate the students have tried at least three times this week to set the dormitory on fire. The failed attempts raised alarm among teachers and prompted the school administration to act swiftly to avert danger.
The school administration has sent the students home for an unknown period as investigations continue. Education officials are expected to intervene and give direction on the way forward.
