THE UNTOLD STORY OF PERIS ONDARA; A primary school teacher who allegedly hired hitmen to finish her in-laws over property.
On March 2023, Edward Morema and his wife Grace boarded a plane from the US headed back home to Kenya.
But unlike kawaida trips where wazees come to eat kienyeji, fix plots and go back abroadā¦
This one was different. Very different.
They werenāt coming for vacation.They were coming to fix a family mess that had been boiling since 2021.
The Beginning of the Madness
Their nephew, Dr. Zachary Mosoti, a respected lecturer at USIU, had died mysteriously.
A learned man, Good job, Good money, Good life.
Yet somehow, he was found strangled and half-naked in a bedsitter in Kamulu.
No noise.No witnesses.No answers.Just death!
And Thatās When the War Beganā¦
Zach left behind serious property:
Rentals in Ruai
Land in Umoja
Projects still under construction
But more importantlyā¦
He left behind TWO women.
1) Gladys Mosoti ā the long-term woman, family-approved, married way back in 1995.
2) Peris Ondara ā a primary school teacher from Tala, beautiful, boldā¦ and very determined.
And as usual in Kenya, when a man dies, peace also dies with him.
Why the Family Didnāt Trust Peris
Hereās where things get spicy:
- She wasnāt recognized as a wife
- She skipped Zachās burial
- She had chased him out of their Ruai home
- Zach died while staying alone in Kamulu
- And she was already rumored to be āproblematicā
To the family, Peris was bad news wrapped in lipstick.
But since they couldnāt prove anything, they decided to fight her legally.
Edward & Grace ā the elders sent to protect the estate.
Court Battles & Growing Bitterness
Peris wanted full control of the property.The family said HAPANA.
She said:
āHizi nyumba nilijenga. Watoto wangu walisomea hapa.ā
Family said:
āMadam, hata marriage certificate hatujaona.ā
Things went left.
Chief refused to give her admin letters.Court sided with Gladys.Family locked her out.
And thatās when frustration turned into rage.
The Devil Whisperedā¦
Peris decided:
āIf they wonāt give me the propertyā¦ then nobody will stand in my way.ā
She called her brother, Dennis Ondara Clement ā a man fresh from Kamiti, with connections, street knowledge and zero fear.
Plan?,Eliminate the problem.
And the āproblemā was Edward Morema.
The Night Everything Ended
March 20, 2023.
Edward and Grace were chilling in their Nyamakoroto home ā the retirement house they had built after decades in the US.
Then hell broke loose.
Men stormed in.Hands tied,No mercy.
- Edward ā beaten, stabbed, throat slit
- Grace ā strangled to death
- CCTV dismantled
- Killers vanished
A house of dreams became a slaughterhouse.
And Guess What?
While the village mournedā¦
Peris allegedly thought:
āFinally. Now the property is mine.ā
But God has no blind spot.
The Fall
Her brother Dennis tried to flee to Tanzania.
DCI said:Not today, boss.
He was arrested with:
- A loaded Ceska pistol
- 14 rounds of ammo
- Burglary tools
- Evidence linking him to multiple crimes
Investigations placed him at the murder scene.
And suddenlyā¦Everything started making sense.
The Big Question
If Dennis and his crew killed Edward & Graceā¦
Were they also behind the murder of Dr. Zachary Mosoti?
Because same players!Same motive!Same greed!
