Most people are jobless not because they are incompetent but because of the content of their CV.

You can take time off social media, learn all you need to know about CV writing, come back to social media, position yourself, talk about it for at least one month to create awareness, then place your services.
You can start writing CV for individuals and make money from it.

Most Kenyans don’t use laptops — they ferry them.
Like handbags.
Like decorations.

You’ll see them in town, in meetings, or boarding a matatu with a sleek MacBook or HP bag.
Wearing a serious face.
Holding a fancy laptop bag with zero clue what to do with it.

You get home.
Remove the laptop.
Dust it.
Place it on the table.
No tabs opened. No files touched. No brain activated.

Let’s be honest:
A lot of people are just laptop carriers, not users.
You’re still typing CVs in Microsoft Word like it’s 2013.
You open Excel and freeze.
You’ve never touched Google Docs.
You think Google Keep is an app for cooking recipes.
ChatGPT? You still think it’s demonic.

And yet, you want to grow in your career?
You want to earn more?
You want to “start an online business”?

We don’t need another motivational quote.
We need digital literacy.
Basic tech knowledge.
Simple skills that make you useful in this economy.

Don’t carry your laptop like it’s a sacred relic.
Use it.
Learn with it.
Build something with it.

The Nakuru based minister of the Word is also very inspiring online preacher on page. He functions full of the grace of God as pastor, teacher and evangelist.
He visited Kabarnet Christian Bookshop to appreciate our vision to empower millions of people around the world through the sharing of wisdom and knowledge of God. He was kind to gift me with a copy of his book.Soon his book will be available in our bookshop shelves. Watch this spiritual space."
