We recently convened a strategic meeting with Executive Directors from the Coalition Against Sexual Violence Kenya marking a critical moment in aligning our collective efforts to address sexual and gender-based violence in Kenya. The session focused on sharing progress, aligning priorities and exploring joint strategies to enhance impact.

As we approach the 2027 elections, the Coalition is committed to proactively addressing electoral-related GBV, leading joint fundraising efforts, and leveraging legal expertise to strengthen support for survivors.

The Coalition will collaborate with institutions of higher learning to integrate research into GBV interventions, ensuring evidence-based responses.

We are also committed to amplifying the voices survivors from the tea sector by documenting their experiences an essential step in shaping survivor-centered and effective long-term solutions.

In partnership with Independent Medico Legal Unit IMLU we convened a validation meeting of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Convicted Sexual Offenders Electronic Register (CSOER) bringing together Judiciary, state actors, the coalition members and other women’s Rights Organizations (WROs).

A strong Sexual Offenders Register is critical for justice, accountability, and protecting survivors. We want to thank all partners who attended and contributed to strengthening this important system.
