WHY DON’T THE SEEDS COLLECTED BY ANTS UNDER THE GROUND SPROUT?

Scientists discovered that after ants collect the grains and seeds they need and store them underground, they break them into two halves, because if the seeds are split into two halves, they do not sprout even if the right conditions are met.

But what amazed them is that when ants split the coriander seed, they divide it into four parts!
Later research showed that the coriander seed, if split into two halves, can still sprout, but if it is split into four parts, it will not sprout.

Who taught the ants all this?

لم يأكل عمر بن الخطاب في عام الرمادة سوى الخبز والزيت حتى اسود جلده وكان يقول :
(بئس الوالي أنا، إن شبعت والناس جياع

Umar ibn al-Khattab did not eat anything during the Year of Ashes except bread and oil until his skin darkened, and he used to say:
'What a bad ruler I would be if I ate my fill while the people are hungry.'"
