Grammy-winning rapper Drake has been hit with a copyright infringement lawsuit over his “What Did I Miss?” music video. The suit, filed on Wednesday (Nov. 12) by Italian photographer Gabriele Galimberti in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, accuses Drake of “willful, brazen and extensive unlawful infringement” for recreating a scene from Galimberti’s acclaimed portrait series The Ameriguns.

The original photograph features a family in a pool surrounded by fi****ms — a composition strikingly echoed in Drake’s video, released July 4 as part of his Iceman YouTube series. Galimberti alleges the image was copied without permission and is seeking a jury trial and unspecified damages. Drake’s camp and UMG have not issued a public response.
