Riyo, meaning Dream, was founded in 2009 by Somali-Dutch filmmaker Ahmed Farah, who had a dream that the world would witness the subtle beauty of Somalia by creating film culture through his film production. Riyo Films has produced award winning and groundbreaking work and is extremely proud to be able to deliver the highest quality films to audiences worldwide.
