The Siamese aggressors were the ones who launched attacks into Cambodia first. Then they falsely blamed Cambodia, saying we were the ones who initiated the conflict.
As a Cambodian citizen, I want the world to know that no small country would ever seek to invade a larger one. All of these claims are blatant lies coming from the mouths of the Siamese aggressors. Cambodia does not desire anyone elseβs landβwe simply want peace, nothing more.
Please let the world be aware: the Siamese fired heavy weapons into Cambodian territory first. When Cambodia fired back in self-defense, they started calling for negotiations. But their negotiations only happen during the dayβat night, they continue their attacks without stopping. Civilians living near the border have been forced to flee for their lives, many barely escaping in time.
