πIt's not the party scene that's dying - It's escapism that's dying.
β new audiences donβt like techno, and they donβt go to venues that play techno.
Bar clubs are also dying - the new generation are doing work they love, they don't need to go to bar-clubs to drink and jump around, to escape reality.
The age of the hard hitting industrial sound is coming to an end.
The new generation are post industrialization. Music for them is not escapism, but rather about real life.
However I have noticed some foreign owned venues in Asia trying to promote Berlin Techno as the biggest thing in the world β they hide the fact that itβs almost dead, trying to see how much money they can still scam out of Asians.
