My hands are shaking with rage as I type this, but these things need to be said and heard. I'm a working mom of two who recently went on a work trip. Before leaving, I gave my husband a list of instructions and reminders about our kids' schedules.
I meal-prepped for a week, did the laundry, and laid out the kids' outfits for every day. I DID EVERYTHING I COULD TO MAKE HIS LIFE EASIER for him while I was working out of state.
TELL ME WHY I CAME BACK TO A HOUSE IN SHAMBLES?! On my way from the airport, all I could think about was my comfy bed and a warm dinner. I ALMOST BROKE DOWN CRYING WHEN I SAW what happened to the house while I was gone. There was nothing to eat, and my bed was covered in piles of clothes. HOW DO YOU EVEN DO THAT IN A WEEK?!
When my husband got home, he said, "Oh, thank God you're back! I'm starving. You didn't make enough food for the week." AND THAT'S WHEN I ⬇️

MY HUSBAND LEFT ME SITTING WITH OUR KIDS FOR HIS BEST FEMALE FRIEND'S WEDDING — HE DIDN'T GET AWAY WITH IT.
I'm a stay-at-home mom, while my husband works full-time. Whenever I wanted to go back to work, I ended up pregnant again. But that's not the issue here.
We received a wedding invitation, and I was excited to go since Jane was also my friend. I prepared a gift, but my husband INSISTED we stay home with the kids since the wedding didn't allow children and he didn't want to hire a babysitter after firing ours.
As the wedding approached, he reiterated that we wouldn't go and would stay home with the kids. Something felt off, but I listened to him.
However, on the day of the wedding, I picked up our kids from school and found a note at home:
"I changed my mind and decided I CAN'T miss it. I took your gift and went to the wedding. See you afterward."
I mean, WHAT? "Stay at home," "no nannies," but now "changed my mind" is OKAY? What the hell is going on?!
I called our nanny, got in the car, and drove to the wedding. When I arrived, MY STOMACH SANK. I saw him and ⬇️

MY IN-LAWS KICKED ME AND MY NEWBORN OUT OF THE HOUSE — THEY REGRETTED IT SOON AFTER.
I live with my husband, our little baby, and my in-laws in the same house. Every single day, my in-laws have these huge, loud fights that just never end. Yesterday, while my baby was napping, I could hear them yelling downstairs even with our door shut.
During a brief moment of silence, I calmly said, "Hey, just so you know, the baby's sleeping," and then walked away. A few minutes later, I heard my FIL cursing my name, saying something about "my house" to my MIL.
Then he stormed up to me, still furious, and snapped, "Just so you know, you don't shush me in my own home. This is MY house. I gave my son the money to buy it, so you don't get to tell me what to do. If you think you're so smart, go live with your mom where it's comfy and quiet. Maybe when my son's back from his business trip, he'll think about letting you come back."
I was totally shocked and couldn't say a word. My FIL just stood there watching as I packed up my stuff and the baby's, and left for my mom's place. But here's the kicker: a couple of days later, the doorbell at my in-laws' house rang.
My FIL opened the door and GASPED when he saw ⬇️

MY 5-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER STARTED DRAWING OUR FAMILY WITHOUT HER DAD – WHEN I FOUND OUT THE REASON, I WAS SPEECHLESS.
Lily's kindergarten teacher called me up, asking if everything was alright with our family. I was like, yeah, why? Then she told me the kids were supposed to draw their families, and Lily drew just three people: me, her, and her big brother Liam. When the teacher asked her where her dad was, Lily just clammed up.
I was shocked ‘cause my husband’s always been so attentive to both me and Lily. So, that evening, I asked her, "Sweetheart, why didn't you draw Daddy in school? Did he do something to upset you?"
"I can't tell you."
"Why, honey? You can tell your mom anything."
