To my little me...

As a child,i didn't know
i was lonely but now,
as a woman sitting in a
quiet room, i am reminded of
all the monsters my mind created to distract me
when i was all alone.

Running around with a childish smile discovering the surroundings which they told me to stop.
I was born into a world of fear,
Where i grew up to hide my tears.

Now I no longer tied to what was given. I carved a path, my own, forgiven. It wasn’t just to survive the fall, But to rise and live beyond it all.
