Life in the Countryside During the Rainy Season🍃

When the rains arrive, the countryside transforms into a different world. The rice fields disappear beneath rising waters, turning into vast lakes where fish swim freely. Villagers take their nets and cast them into the flooded fields, hoping to bring home the day’s catch. Fresh fish fill bright orange buckets, a simple reward from nature.

Along the muddy paths, cows gather under the dark, heavy clouds, patiently enduring the weather as farmers guide them home. The air feels thick with the smell of wet earth, and the sound of rushing water blends with the calls of the cattle.

This is the rhythm of rural life in the rainy season, where hardship and abundance come hand in hand, and people live closely with the land, finding their livelihood in the waters and fields.🍀

On 28th May 2025, The Thai army fired first on a long-standing Cambodian military outpost, killing one Cambodian soldier.🕊️

Again on 24th July 2025,
Thailand has invaded Cambodia using military force and launched six missiles into Cambodian territory first. As a result, Cambodia has the legitimate right to defend itself and protect its national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

They created the chaos and now pretend to be the victim. But the truth echoes louder than any gunfire.

Cambodia has called for peace and resolution through the International Court of Justice (ICJ),but Thailand refuses to go.

How could a small country like Cambodia invade a larger, more powerful neighbor?

We’re stand for peace, not provocation. And the world sees us clearly. Let the world know “Cambodia is not the one who started the fire.”

As one Cambodia, I place my faith in our unity and courage. We’re standing together on the foundation of truth, we are confident that the world is watching us.

Each of us has a voice and when we raise it together, truth speaks louder than conflict. Let the world see who we are. Let them hear the heart of Cambodia. 🇰🇭❤️🙏🏻

We want peace, never war. Cambodia’s Ministry of National Defense’s Account on the development that leads to the border clashes on July 24:
• At 6:30am: Thailand begins provocative actions by violating the bilateral agreements when the Thai side sneaks in and installs barbed wire at the foot of Ta Moan Thom temple.
• At 7:04 am: Thailand hovers drone(s) for 2 minutes
• At 8:30am: Thailand fires to the sky •
• At 8:46am: Thai invasion forces initiate fires onto the Cambodian troops at Ta Moan Thom temple, with escalations moving toward Ta Krabei temple and Phnom Kmoach region. The Thai forces also extended their firing range to the Mom Bei area in Preah Vihear province, utilizing jet fighters.
• At 8:47am: Forced to defend the homeland, Cambodian forces retaliate against aggression by Thai troops.
