Hello Cambodia, hello world, and to all my friends across the globe! 🙏🙏
I’m Chanhout, a proud and hopeful young active citizen of Cambodia.

Today, my heart is heavy. Our beloved Cambodia is facing ongoing border attacks from Thailand. This is not new news, but the pain continues as gunfire still echoes on our land. As a child of Cambodia, I want to cry out to the world: we only seek peace. We have lived through years of war and suffering. We are a small, developing country trying to build a better future, there is no reason for us to start a war with anyone. Yet, fake news spreads lies about Cambodia, painting us in a negative light. I ask all of you: please search for the truth, seek real and trusted sources, and hear our voice.

Because of these attacks, our brothers and sisters at the border have lost their homes. Families are fleeing, children are crying, and lives are being torn apart. But even in pain, we stand together. We are raising awareness, supporting one another, and collecting donations to help our brave heroes at the border and our innocent people affected by this violence.

I use my small voice to speak to the big world: United Nations, UNESCO, and all our friends around the world. Please, stand with Cambodia. We are a people of peace, a people of hope, a people committed to positive change. Let us stop this war, let us heal, and let us bring back smiles to our people once again.

我是源发，一名自豪而充满希望的柬埔寨青年公民。

今天，我的心情沉重。我们亲爱的柬埔寨正遭受来自泰国持续的边境攻击。这不是新消息，但痛苦仍在继续，枪声依旧在我们的土地上回荡。作为柬埔寨的孩子，我想向全世界呼喊：我们只渴望和平。我们曾经历过多年的战争与苦难。我们是一个小而正在发展的国家，正在努力建设更美好的未来, 我们没有任何理由与任何国家开战。然而，虚假新闻传播着针对柬埔寨的谎言，把我们描绘得十分负面。我恳请大家：请寻找真相，寻找真实可靠的消息来源，听见我们的声音。

因为这些攻击，我们边境的兄弟姐妹失去了家园。家庭被迫逃离，孩子们哭泣，生活被撕裂。但即使在痛苦中，我们仍然团结在一起。我们正在提高公众意识，互相支持，筹集捐款，帮助边境的英雄们和受这场暴力影响的无辜民众。

我用自己微小的声音向世界呐喊：联合国、联合国教科文组织，以及我们世界各地的朋友们, 请与柬埔寨站在一起。我们是一个热爱和平的民族，一个充满希望的民族，一个致力于积极改变的民族。让我们结束这场战争，让我们疗愈，让我们再次把笑容带回人民的脸上。
