Proud and honored to represent BIGEIGHT Co., Ltd. as a Domain Expert in the Reverse Innovation Cohort 5 organized by Tech Startup Center (TSC), where I, Kolmen TIN, had the opportunity to contribute to Challenge 6: โUnlocking Cambodiaโs Talent & Artist Industry.โ
Reverse Innovation Cohort 5 is a startup innovation program designed to support and accelerate Cambodian startups through a multi-phase journey over several months. The program started with startup applications, screening, and startup deep-dive sessions, followed by Reverse Pitch Day where Domain Experts introduced real industry challenges and opportunities to participating startups.
Selected startups then entered a 4-week Bootcamp phase, working closely with Domain Experts and mentors to deeply understand market problems, validate ideas, and co-create practical solutions. After the Elimination Pitch Day, qualified teams continued into an 8-week Acceleration phase focused on mentorship, product development, market validation, business strategy, and pitching preparation before concluding at the Forward Pitch Day and Award Ceremony.
Throughout the program, startups collaborated with mentors, ecosystem partners, and industry leaders to strengthen their business models, build MVPs, validate customer needs, and prepare for sustainable growth and investment opportunities within Cambodiaโs startup ecosystem.
As part of this meaningful journey, I had the privilege to share industry insights, mentor startup teams, and contribute perspectives from the creative and talent industry alongside many inspiring innovators and ecosystem builders. It was truly encouraging to witness the passion, creativity, and potential of Cambodian entrepreneurs building impactful solutions for the future.

This program reflects the strong commitment toward strengthening Cambodiaโs startup ecosystem and empowering the next generation of innovators.
