Cambodia-Korea Friendship Bridge Project in 2026, Cost 245 Million! β¦.. The Cambodia-Korea Friendship Bridge Project, costing 245 million baht, connecting the points (Night Market-Chroy Changvar, Chroy Changvar-Ari Yaktra) on the west bank of the Tonle Sap, is scheduled to open construction in the first half of 2026. Currently, it has reached the stage of preparing for the procurement of construction companies. π°π·π°π Please be informed that the Cambodia-Korea Friendship Bridge is the second ring road, running through the intersection of cable-stayed concrete bridges connecting National Road No. 1 across the Mekong River to the Ari Yaktra area (Kdei Takoy-Ari Yaktra Bridge) and is a connecting road to the Dei Khrit-Thoma Kor Bridge, leading to the Phnom Penh-Bavet Expressway and to the Prek Tamak Bridge. The Cambodia-Korea Friendship Bridge (Night Market-Chroy Changvar, Chroy Changvar-Ari Yaektra) is a high-rise cable-stayed concrete bridge, built with 4 A/C lanes, a total bridge width of 27.5 meters and a road width of 22.5 meters, with a median of 3 meters and a sidewalk of 3 meters, and a maximum speed of 80 km/h. The Cambodia-Korea Friendship Bridge will be built across the Tonle Sap. Bridge 1: (starting from the night market area (Old Market) to the other side of Chroy Changvar (near Sokha Hotel) is 1.19 km long. Bridge 2: Crossing the Mekong River, starting from the other side of Chroy Changvar (near Sokha Hotel) to the intersection with Road No. 380, Ari Yaktra Commune (Lvae Em City/Kandal Province) is 1.18 km long. The connecting road to the intersection with Road No. 380 is 1.17 km long. The project has an implementation period of 5 years and 2 months (62 months) and a construction period of 3 years and 9 months (47 months).
