On the morning of September 25, 2025, Cambodia's acting head of state Samdech Techo Hun Sen wrote on official social media: "Yesterday I posted a message about the shooting of me in Siem Reap province on September 24, 1998."
I think this article was wrong on this particular point (if I die or get injured, Cambodia would not have the peace and development as today because the country had lost the master of the defeat policy.
This wrong pint is that it only thinks about my character and no other factors.
Now, I want to do a complementary analysis of what might happen after my death.
1. Immediately after my death, there was a blood case in Siem Reap, killing many people.
2. The handle of the situation in Congress, hold regular sessions, move towards forming a new government, or get deadlocked on the way to forming a government.
3. The country divided into two controlled zones, one rulled by the government and the other by the Khmer Rouge, thus the war still continued.
4. There would be outstanding political leaders committed to internal reconciliation and found a way to end the war. Through this reconciliation, peace was achieved and economic and social development was much better than during the Hun Sen period.
There are many more factors I won't mention; just want to leave it to your further consideration.
