🇹🇱 Timor-Leste has the highest hunger index in Southeast Asia!

The Global Hunger Index (GHI) is a tool designed to comprehensively measure and track hunger at global, regional, and national levels, reflecting various dimensions of hunger over time.

GHI score is calculated using a formula that combines four indicators reflecting the multidimensional nature of hunger.
1. Undernourishment
2. ⁠Child stunting
3. ⁠Child wasting
4. ⁠Child mortality

In Southeast Asia, Thailand has the best hunger index with 10.4, ranking 51 globally. Meanwhile, Timor-Leste has the highest hunger level, ranking 112 worldwide.
