Thailand worships a delusional king, and all the royal children are unfit to rule. I believe this is the curse placed by the Khmer kings, engraved on the stone inscriptions of Khmer temples.

The Thai king, Thai generals, and Thai prime minister are currently lying to their people, saying that Cambodia has suffered many casualties in this war. But:
1. If Cambodian forces really suffered heavy losses, why is the contested area at the border still under Cambodia’s control?
2. If there were many Cambodian deaths, why are there no bodies found in Cambodian waters?
3. If so many Cambodians died, why are Cambodian not troops still actively deployed and maneuvering in the conflict zones?

The Thai military claims that Cambodia is the aggressor, but:
1. If Thailand is truly the victim, why haven’t they filed a case with the International Court of Justice (ICJ), and instead left it to the so-called “aggressor” to file the complaint?
2. If Thailand is truly the victim, why do they refuse to allow the ICJ to intervene?
3. If Thailand is truly the victim, why won’t they agree to the international ceasefire proposal?

Thailand claims to be the victim, but if we look at their weapons, military forces, population, territory, and economy — all are far stronger and larger than Cambodia’s.

Thailand is deceiving its people and the world with an unbelievable story. It’s like a grown adult beating a small child and then telling everyone that the child attacked them.

២. ប្រសិនបើមានការស្លាប់ច្រើន តើហេតុអ្វីមិនមានសាកសពនៅក្នុងទឹកដីកម្ពុជាទេ?

For clarification to all international medias. If Cambodia has made aggressions/invasions on Thailand, how could Cambodian soldiers carry their basements and bunkers along with? The pictures definitly show that we fought from our basements and bunkers to defend and protect our homeland.

BREAKING: Cambodian military informs military attachés and diplomats from 13 countries that Thai forces have captured 20 Cambodian soldiers (1 escaped, 2 suspected dead) after an official ceasefire was in place. The Thai troops reportedly approached as if to shake hands with Cambodian troops at the frontline, but then suddenly detained them. As of now, they have not been released.

(Preah Vihear): On the morning of July 30, 2025, the commander of the Cambodian armed forces informed military attachés and diplomats from 13 countries about an incident where Thai forces detained 20 Cambodian soldiers (one managed to escape, and two are suspected to have died) after a ceasefire had officially taken effect. The Cambodian troops were in the process of shaking hands with Thai soldiers at the frontline when the incident occurred.

According to the Cambodian military, this information was shared during a visit led by senior officials from the Ministry of National Defense, along with foreign military attachés, diplomats, and relevant parties, to inspect the Cambodia–Thailand border. The purpose was to observe the situation and verify implementation of the ceasefire agreement.

The Cambodian military clarified to the 13 foreign representatives that, on the morning of July 29, 2025, after the ceasefire was officially in effect, Cambodian troops approached Thai soldiers to shake hands. However, on their way back, the Thai soldiers suddenly pointed their weapons and detained the Cambodian soldiers.

According to the Cambodian commander, as of the afternoon of July 30, 2025, the Thai forces have not yet released the detained Cambodian soldiers.

A fruitful outcome from the meeting between myself and H.E. Phumtham Wechayachai, Acting Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, both the Cambodia and Thai sides have reached the following agreements:

1. An immediate and unconditional ceasefire, with effect from 24:00 hours (local time) on 28 July 2025. This is a vital first step towards de-escalation and the restoration of peace and security.
2. To convene informal meeting of regional commanders (Regional Military 1 and 2 on the Thai side and Regional Military 4 and 5!of the Cambodian side) at 07:00 hours on 29 July 2025, and followed by meeting with the Defense Attaches led by the Chair of ASEAN, if both sides agreed; and
3. To convene a meeting of the General Border Committee (GBC) on 4 August 2025, to be hosted by Cambodia

I would like to thank H.E. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim for initiating and facilitating this meeting and serving as host. I would also like to extend my thanks to H.E. President Donald Trump for his support for the immediate ceasefire negotiation process in order to build peace through the United States’ co-organizing of today’s meeting. I also thank the Government of China, which has consistently encouraged both sides to seek a ceasefire and actively supported this special meeting.

I firmly believe that this ceasefire agreement between the Cambodian and Thai armed forces is a crucial foundation for building mutual trust, improving the situation, and paving the way for returning to normalcy in the future.

Cambodia has experienced many wars in the past. We do not want war anymore. We fully understand the devastating consequences of war.

We possess a rich culture, civilization, art, and literature. We have magnificent ancient temples, and many of them are inscribed with Khmer script on stone tablets.

There is nothing for us to invade Thailand for. All we want is to protect what we have and not lose anything more.

Let’s imagine for a moment: in terms of land size, population, economy, weapons, and military forces — we have less of everything. So why is it that a smaller country invades a larger one?
