Growing up in a village known largely for its ties to the sugar industry, Gloria was determined to show that her people were far more diverse, talented, and dynamic. Her drive to compete and excel on stage was not just personal ambition, but a mission to represent St. Paul’s with pride, proving that the community could produce icons in culture, art, and performance as well.
