Xplore the World started in 2009 with its first documentary, "The Other Side of Carnival:" a 45-minute documentary on Carnival's social and economic impact in Trinidad & Tobago. So far, the company has produced other short documentaries, journalistic pieces, informational videos and commercials, such as "T&T 50 in Fifteen," "Sin City", "Happiness is Simple", "Dental Designs", etc. Xplore the World

is currently working on "Panomundo," a feature-length documentary looking at the history of the steelpan and its influence around six countries world; "12 Months," a docudrama about a Los Angeles man who rents his home for $1 per month for one year to a family in need; and "Not In Our Culture," based in Nigeria, it looks at how weddings are celebrated among three different tribes in the country. Prior to interviewing someone, we do about 90-minutes of research in order to produce strong questions. 📚🎬

But, remember, because this documentary is in Spanish, you need to add some more time to translate everything. You guessed it: still researching and writing in English and then reproducing in Spanish. ✍️
