We talk about surrender in the context of faith..alot. What does that actually mean in business? What does it look like? How is it achieved? Are we aware that faith takes our whole life into account?

In business, surrender doesn't mean abandoning strategy, profit, growth, or excellence. It means recognizing that while we are called to steward the business, God is the ultimate owner.

Surrender looks like:
• Seeking God's wisdom before making major decisions;
• Choosing integrity over shortcuts;
• Serving people, not just chasing profits;
• Holding plans loosely and trusting God with outcomes, and
• Being faithful in the work while releasing the need to control everything.

A surrendered business can still be profitable, innovative, competitive, and influential. In fact, surrender often creates the clarity, character, and resilience needed for long-term success. Our responsibility is obedience. God's responsibility is the outcome.

When we surrender our business to God, we stop carrying what was never ours to carry.

May just started, yet somehow it already feels like the month is moving fast. Mother’s Day reminded many of us yesterday of the importance of family, gratitude, and presence. However, reality reminds us that business continues today.

What do we have scheduled for today? Meetings? Pressures? Responsibilities? Pursuits?

As we step into a new week, remember this: “Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in.” Galatians 6:9 (AMP)

Stay faithful. Stay disciplined. Stay consistent. Not every seed produces overnight.
Not every sacrifice is immediately visible. Perseverance has a reward.

That line: “No power of hell, no scheme of man…” reminded me that absolutely nothing has the power to stop what God has started.

As you step into this Monday (not the pressure, not the market, not uncertainty), nothing gets the final say but what God has already said.

Before the emails. Before the meetings. Before the deals—remember: You are held.
You are called. You are covered.

In business, you will hear many voices. The market will speak. Your fears will speak. Critics will speak. Even your past failures will try to speak. Romans 3:4 reminds us of something foundational: “Let God be true, and every human being a liar.”

As a business owner, leader, or entrepreneur, you cannot afford to build on opinions. You must build on truth. If God gave you the vision, His truth outweighs:
- The naysayers;
- The statistics;
- The setbacks, and
- The delay.

Integrity in the boardroom begins with alignment in the Spirit. Are you making decisions based on pressure or on promise? Are you pivoting because of fear or because of obedience? Are you shrinking because of noise or standing because of truth?

Let God be true in your leadership. Let God be true in your strategy. Let God be true in your finances. Let God be true in your ex*****on. When His truth governs your business, you don’t have to manipulate outcomes; instead, you steward the assignment.

Today’s challenge: audit every major decision you’re making right now. Ask yourself: "Does it agree with God’s trust or just man’s opinion?"
