Confused about throwing away trash in Korea? You are definitely not alone! 🥲🗑️

Korea has a very strict trash sorting system (분리수거). If you throw your garbage in the wrong bag or don't separate it properly, you could get a heavy fine! 💸

But don't panic! Your GKS Buddy has prepared a quick "Trash Sorting Survival Guide" to keep you safe from fines:

Updating your personal information is crucial to maintaining your scholarship and visa status. If you change your Name, Passport Number, or Address, make sure to update it in these 3 places immediately:

1️⃣ Your University Portal (And don't forget to tell your GKS Coordinator!)
2️⃣ HURIK (www.hurik.go.kr) - You can sign up with your CS number. You can also print your GKS certificates here!
3️⃣ Immigration Office / HiKorea - Remember to report changes within 14 days to avoid fines!

ตอนนี้ใกล้เกาหลีใกล้เข้าสู่ช่วงฤดูหนาวแล้ว สำหรับอาหารที่ขึ้นชื่อในช่วงฤดูหนาว นั่นก็คือ โจ๊กถั่วแดง (팥죽) ซึ่งเป็นอาหารพื้นบ้านของเกาหลีที่มีมาอย่างยาวนาน โดยชาวเกาหลีเชื่อว่าสีแดงสามารถไล่ภูตผีและวิญญาณร้ายได้ จึงทำให้ถั่วแดงกลายมาเป็นสิ่งที่ชาวเกาหลีเชื่อสามารถไล่ภูตผีปีศาจได้นั่นเอง
