At the 79th Festival de Cannes, YELLOWFIN was presented through a large-scale VR setup using over 100 synchronized PICO headsets and external surround-sound speakers, bringing audiences directly into the coastal communities of the Celebes Sea while recreating the communal experience of cinema.

In this short feature by PICO XR, Hanna Forssell of The National Museum of Finland reflects on the experience: “Very, very emotional and very realistic… It was wonderful. Great story.”
