The Busan Global City Foundation will host a two-day “Busan Familiarization Tour” tomorrow and the following day to mark the 80th anniversary of United Nations Day, inviting diplomatic and security officials from 13 countries. The foundation aims to showcase Busan’s identity as a city of peace and innovation through peace exchange events and industrial site visits.

부산글로벌도시재단은 유엔의 날 80주년을 맞아 내일과 모레 이틀 동안 13개국 외교·안보 인사를 초청해 ‘부산 팸투어’를 실시합니다. 참가자들은 평화교류 행사와 산업 시찰을 통해 부산의 평화도시 정체성과 혁신성을 체험할 예정입니다.

The city of Busan has opened an English teaching course using the children’s learning material ‘English Waves’ from the cultural space “Deullak Nallak.” Developed in March and distributed for free, the program helps young children learn English naturally through play. The training will be held free of charge at Busan Global Village on October 30–31 and November 27–28, with 15 participants per session on a first-come, first-served basis. The city aims to use the program to further strengthen the local English education environment.

부산시는 아동문화공간 ‘들락날락’의 영어 교재 ‘잉글리시 웨이브즈(English Waves)’ 활용 지도 과정을 개설했습니다. 영유아가 놀이로 영어를 배우도록 지난 3월 개발해 무료 배포 중인 교재로 교육은 10월 30~31일, 11월 27~28일 부산글로벌빌리지에서 무료 진행되며 회차별 15명 선착순 모집한다. 시는 이번 과정을 통해 지역 영어교육 환경을 강화할 계획이다.
