Negative Verb Forms:
To make a sentence negative, you can add 안 (an) in front of the verb (excluding 있다).
For example, "저는 운동 안 해요" (jeoneun undong an haeyo) means "I don't exercise".
Example:
The verb "to eat" (먹다) can be conjugated as follows:
먹어요 (mek-eoyo) - I eat (polite)
먹었어 (mek-eoss-eo) - I ate (past)
먹을 거예요 (mek-eul geo-ye-yo) - I will eat (future)
안 먹어요 (an mek-eoyo) - I don't eat (negative)
