The Long Walk 🚶‍♂️ 3.5/5

Some stories don’t rely on jump scares to leave you unsettled, and The Long Walk is one of them.

The slow-building tension, the relationships between the characters, and the constant feeling that something terrible is just around the corner made this such a compelling read. It wasn’t a five-star book for me, but it’s one I’ll be thinking about long after turning the last page.

If you’re looking for a thought-provoking, character-driven story with an unsettling atmosphere, this one is worth picking up.

Now the real question… will the movie do it justice? 📖🎬

☁️ 📖 The Wedding People ✨

I don't usually gravitate toward books like this, but The Wedding People completely caught me off guard. It's the kind of story that quietly draws you in with its wit, heart, and unforgettable characters. I loved the quiet moments, the unexpected emotions, and the reminder that stepping outside your comfort zone can be worth it.

Book #2 finished this week, and I'm already reaching for the next one.

It started a little slower than I expected, but once it picked up, the twists made it worth the wait. A solid 4 ⭐️ read-and a must-read if you enjoyed The Perfect Marriage. Bonus: this was my very first Kindle read!

Just finished The Perfect Marriage… and wow. I flew through this one because I had to know how it ended. If you enjoy fast-paced thrillers, this is a great pick.

This book had me reading every chance I got. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo completely pulled me in — the drama, love, heartbreak, all of it. It absolutely lived up to the hype and I already miss reading it 🤍

• Plaza Ice Cream Parlor: Mickey’s Kitchen Sink Sundae — vanilla + strawberry ice cream, caramel sauce, whipped cream, and a cherry on top 🍒

• Mickey Pretzel + cheese (I know people are divided on the cheese…but I love it 😂)
• Joffrey’s Vanilla Latte (honestly anything from Joffrey’s is usually a win)
