“More than music, it’s a calling.” BeeHan (David Han) was born in South Korea and moved to the United States at the age of two.�He first discovered hip-hop in 7th grade when he realized he could rent CDs from the public library. Around the same time, he bega
n shaping his craft by writing poems for girls he had feelings for, unknowingly laying the foundation for his songwriting. In high school, he started freestyling with friends during their free time, which inspired him to experiment with melody and rhythm as well. Though he attended several different colleges, he never finished them at first, feeling no true passion for those career paths. During one of his college breaks, he traveled to Indonesia for short-term missionary work — an experience that brought him deep joy through helping those in need. While there, he wrote his first song using only four simple guitar chords. That song ultimately earned him admission to Berklee College of Music, where he graduated with a concentration in Marketing at the age of 27 — an accomplishment he once thought impossible. After college, BeeHan built his own home studio and taught himself every step of creating industry-standard music — from songwriting, composition, and recording to mixing, mastering, production, and even album art design.
