At IBC 2025, we’ll be showcasing a cloud-based video switcher demo. The system can take in up to 8 video channels over SRT — whether from smartphones or PTZ cameras — and switch between them in real time. On top of that, we’ll show how DMX lighting and tally signals can also be controlled through the cloud.

We believe cloud technology is the future of live production. It’s still in testing, but this has been one of the biggest and most ambitious media-tech projects we’ve worked on so far. We hope this demo will inspire many IBC visitors and give them a glimpse of what’s next for live production.

NDI is the most widely adopted protocol for IP video, but live transmissions often suffer from latency. Most NDI HX decoders introduce 400–500 ms glass-to-glass delay across brands in streaming applications such as worship services or lectures.

The new DCORE solves this. Supporting both NDI HX and Full NDI, it shows only about 40 ms more latency than a direct HDMI connection, cutting delays by up to 400-500 ms compared to conventional decoders. Latency between HX and Full NDI is nearly identical.

With NDI HX usage growing, low latency is critical. Over two months of continuous testing, DCORE’s embedded Linux platform showed no frame drops or errors. It also supports SRT, RTMP, RTMPS, and RTSP, making it a complete IP video solution.

We’re filming a reality show using about 30 NBOTs paired with SONY FX30s, set in a resort studio on an island. That’s right—every piece of gear has to be transported and set up from scratch. The cast? Six men and women. The crew? 6 to 9 camera operators… but here’s the twist: they’re not hiding behind bushes anymore.
Each NBOT is pre-installed along planned routes and spaces. As the cast members move around the resort, the camera operators don’t follow them physically—they follow them virtually, using NQID’s NDI multiviewer.
With just a few clicks, each operator picks a NBOT, zooms in, pans, tilts, and hits record—all over IP only. No SDI, no baseband cabling, no drama (except the kind we film).
What makes this revolutionary:
