I’ve always liked the design of the cloudbreaker. At the time I really wanted to play the game but I couldn’t. It was a X-Box exclusive and I only had a PS2. The game turns out to be pretty boring with bad English dub. But the mecha design is still great.
Bonus: Another way to pilot the Cloudbreaker is in another game released by FROMSOFTWARE on the PS2 a few years later in 2005: Another Century’s Episode.

R-Type Final 3 came out recently. Not sure if people are familiar with R-Type anymore.
It looks really good. I’ve been watching a lot of gameplay footages, and it looks as fun as the original R-Type Final on the PS2 which I’ve spent countless hours playing.
First time purchasing PLUM kits, could be good, could be bad, we’ll find out. the packaging and runners looks up to standards so far.

I honestly can’t remember the difference without looking it up, all I know is that I want the one with the tail, the MGS4 doesn’t have a tail for some reason.

MG 1/100 Stark Jegan:
This is my first time buying directly from P-Bandai USA. The MG Stark Jegan features the Katoki Hajime-styled Jegan with clean, sharp lines, which differs from the more blobular regular release MG Jegan.

The Stark Jegan has been part of the MSV line art for most of its existence. It was cleaned up by Katoki Hajime and brought into the limelight during the famous fight scene against the Kshatriya in Gundam Unicorn. This fight scene is one of the best in Gundam anime and personally got me completely hooked to Gundam UC 0096.

The box is quite big, possibly to store the many unused pieces, just like most of the other P-Bandai releases.

Now, do I like the P-Bandai service? Let's see if it matches the definition of a premium service:

These services are designed to cater to affluent customers who seek the best-in-class experiences and are willing to pay for it. How many points of 'premium' has Bandai achieved? I think they fit the high price tag aspect right, still waiting for the other areas to catch up.

Price-wise for reference: considering the listed price on US P-Bandai is higher than the Japanese counterpart, and in addition to adding tax and $10 shipping, 7480 yen ($52.7 USD), the price listed on Japanese P-Bandai, ended up costing a little over 100 in the US P-Bandai. Received months after ordering.

Here is what I honestly feel about P-Bandai at its current state: if I didn't have to buy this model kit from P-Bandai, I wouldn't 😂

The MG Zeta 1.0 was my first Master Grade, also designed by Katoki Hajime. It had a lot of problems but was a great kit when it was released. It has an LED light on the rear stabilizer and comes with a Hyper Mega Launcher, making it the first Zeta Gundam model kit to have one. The MG Zeta 2.0 includes the Argama launch platform base and also comes with a Hyper Mega Launcher. Both are very cool accessories. Unfortunately, the new MG Ver Ka doesn’t have it; it’s probably a P-Bandai release and I wouldn’t be surprised if the hyper mega launcher is released on with the Argama launch base from Ver 2.0 with readapted joints and handles 👀

Does anyone else like the Zeta Plus? It is, hands down, one of the best-looking Gundams, in my opinion.

The color scheme is arguably the most realistic, as it is akin to the colors of most fighter jets.

I wonder why they haven’t made an anime adaptation of Gundam Sentinel.

Btw the Valiant had very short screen time in the movie. I honestly don’t remember seeing them.

In Japanese, there are no R sounds; the closest sounds are L sounds. This explains why we often encounter R/L mistakes in Anime and Japanese things in general. I’m mostly okay with seeing spelling mistakes like that (just make sure to spell ‘clap’ correctly), but sometimes it can become quite cringy.

If anyone from Japan is wondering what it feels like to read the R/L mistakes, the equivalent would be seeing incorrect Kanji tattoos… Or Superdry® 😅
