‼️ANNOUNCEMENT‼️👇🔈Calling all Filipino Young Leaders! The Jeju Forum for Peace and Prosperity is inviting interested participants to join the 2025 Jeju Forum Young Leaders Program that will take place from 28 to 30 May 2025 in Jeju.

More than 35 participants, 21 from APEC Member Economies, and 15 Youth Secretariat members from ROK will meet for a meaningful dialogue and collaboration among young leaders from across the APEC region. The program focuses on creating practical solutions to advance long-term stability and shared prosperity under several themes, including Multilateralism, Regional Cooperation, Inclusive Growth, and Climate Resilience.

Interested participants must submit their CV, application form, and consent form to Ms. Jihyeon KIM (Programme Officer, Jeju Forum Secretariat) at email address [email protected] on or before 14 February 2025.

Nagdeklara si South Korean Pres. Yoon Suk Yeol ng martial law sa isang biglaang late night address ngayong Martes, Dec. 3.

Ayon kay Yoon, ginawa niya ito para matiyak ang "free and constitutional order." Giit niya, hinostage umano ng opposition parties ang parliamentary process para malagay sa krisis ang kanilang bansa.

Binanggit ni Yoon ang mosyon ng oposisyon na Democratic Party, na may mayorya ng parliament, para ipa-impeach ang ilang prosecutors at hindi sang-ayunan ang budget proposal ng gobyerno.

"I declare martial law to protect the free Republic of Korea from the threat of North Korean communist forces, to eradicate the despicable pro-North Korean anti-state forces that are plundering the freedom and happiness of our people, and to protect the free constitutional order," aniya.
