[Breaking News] Authorities: "1 Uiseong Forest Fire Fighting Helicopter Crashes... 1 Pilot on Board"

On the afternoon of the 26th, an S76 Air Palace 1200L helicopter leased from Inje, Gangwon Province, crashed in Sinpyeong-myeon, Uiseong-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Today (26th), a firefighting helicopter crashed at the scene of a forest fire in Uiseong, Gyeongbuk.

A passenger aircraft caught fire at an international airport in the southeastern city of Busan on Tuesday, forcing some 170 travelers to evacuate.

The said aircraft was Air Busan and about to fly bound for Hong Kong.

‼️ANNOUNCEMENT‼️👇🔈Calling all Filipino Young Leaders! The Jeju Forum for Peace and Prosperity is inviting interested participants to join the 2025 Jeju Forum Young Leaders Program that will take place from 28 to 30 May 2025 in Jeju.

More than 35 participants, 21 from APEC Member Economies, and 15 Youth Secretariat members from ROK will meet for a meaningful dialogue and collaboration among young leaders from across the APEC region. The program focuses on creating practical solutions to advance long-term stability and shared prosperity under several themes, including Multilateralism, Regional Cooperation, Inclusive Growth, and Climate Resilience.
