Established around 2011, the group has been instrumental in shaping Seoul’s underground music scene, particularly within the realms of electronic and club music. They are known for organizing events and performances that showcase both local and international talent, contributing significantly to the city’s vibrant nightlife.
One of their notable events was the “Deadend 1 Yr. Anniversary with The Lowbrows” held at Cakeshop, a well-known club in Seoul’s Itaewon district, on November 10, 2012. This event highlighted their influence in bringing together diverse artists and audiences.
Members of the Deadend Movement, such as DJ Kingmck (Kim Min-chan), have gained recognition for their contributions to the music industry.
