Nocturnal is a Seoul-based DJ whose sets weave house with techy, tribal, and dreamy sounds, blending diverse genres and eras into imaginative stories.

A resident at Faust’s Tanz Bar since December 2024, she regularly brings her distinctive taste and energy to one of Seoul’s most respected underground clubs. Internationally, she has played at Singapore’s Tuff Club with Naga Sound and at Tokyo’s iconic Aoyama Tunnel, known for its intimate, high-quality sound.

This EP unfolds around the essential themes of existence and experience, weaving a continuous narrative through the contrasting languages of ambient and techno. The journey begins with “Born”, capturing the fragile moment when formless sensation awakens, cautiously exploring the origins of being. It flows into “Chaser” and “Genesis”, which follow emotional movement and temporal progression, expanding into inner tension and metaphysical imagination. While the first half delicately portrays a stream of unconscious thought, “Glitchy” and “Addiction” introduce clearer forms—addressing themes of impulse, repetition, imperfection, and immersion. Each track stands as an independent contemplation, yet together they form a cyclical narrative, inviting the listener to question the boundaries between reality and abstraction.

New podcast #30 by ROS3

ROS3 is a producer and DJ based in Seoul, based on Deep & Hypnotic Techno and Hard Groove. He creates a heavy yet constantly changing groove by adding elements that are cleverly varied on top of heavy kicks and repetitive rhythms. He builds a unique flow and atmosphere by adding his own identity and track ID on top of the minimal tension unique to techno.

His music goes beyond simple repetition, and is alive with structural details and organic movements, allowing the listener to intuitively experience gradual changes and the flow of energy. The delicate layers and sensual development hidden in the solid rhythm make ROS3’s sets even more immersive.
