Filming Prayer Montreal was a blessing and a lot of fun. First of all, the locations were absolutely amazing—Montreal is truly a beautiful city. Victoria Square, the surrounding buildings, and Old Montreal are all within walking distance, which made it an incredible experience to film there for the whole day.

The cast and crew were equally fantastic. Our talented local actress and fashion model May brought such a strong presence to the screen. Huge thanks also to our dedicated local co-producer and gaffer, Laurent, and our assistant director, Wilma. And special guest appearances Guillem.

Everyone did a great job, and the footage turned out beautifully. I can’t wait to start editing!

Prayer Montreal is already the 20th city featured in the Prayer International Series project—a milestone that makes this experience even more meaningful.

Premise:

In the picturesque city of Marseille, Camille Moreau, an aspiring actress, and her husband, Luc Dupont, face career challenges and personal struggles. After Camille loses a coveted role due to local industry corruption, she decides to leave for Paris or Hollywood. Luc, who secures the role, urges her to stay and trust in their faith. An emotional confrontation and a visit to the local church lead Camille to a moment of clarity. Renewed in their faith and commitment to each other, Camille decides to stay, believing in their shared journey despite the challenges.

Recently, creator Young Man Kang visited South Texas to film the 19th episode of his Prayer International Series, titled Prayer on the Border. Valleywood Studio invited him for an interview to discuss his filmmaking journey and his latest project. During the interview, he shared how he came to work on Prayer on the Border and how he collaborated with local talent from South Texas's Valleywood community to bring the story to life.

In a desperate attempt to find a better life, Juan and Maria cross the U.S.-Mexico border with the help of a coyote. However, they soon realize that the dangers in the U.S. are as overwhelming as those they left behind. When Juan’s frustration leads him to confront the coyote, violence ensues. With Juan injured and broken, the couple returns to Mexico, finding solace and hope through faith and prayer.
