They seem to be in their late 70s or early 80s.
As I watched them lovingly holding each other while walking under the summer sun, I couldn’t help but wonder, what’s the secret for an enduring love and relationship like this?
I have always been a big admirer of elderly couples who have remained strong throughout the years.
I wish for a love like this.

It’s the peak of summer.
Sun is blazing with heat wave warning.
Korea’s “heat dome” effect is almost suffocating.
Talagang ibang klase ang init dito.
Pero wala nang mas iinit pa sa umaalab na damdamin ng isang Pilipino na nalayo sa kanyang sariling bansa — often not by choice but for survival. Papaano pa kaya kung ikukulong?
PRRD might be guilty of many things. But not for doing an impossible job no one before and after him dared to do. In my 40years, never have I seen a Filipino leader na tunay na may tapang at malasakit para ipaglaban ang kapakanan ng mga Pilipino. Sadly, his time is over. And it’s time to look forward.
Move and march forward fellow Filipinos. Today, we saw our beacon of hope, in flesh. With undeniable command presence despite the heat and the sweat. Balang araw, makakauwi rin tayo at makakapag-pahinga sa mas maayos, mas ligtas at mas maipagmamalaki nating bansang Pilipinas.🙏🇵🇭
